US measles cases hit 2,318, worst outbreak in 35 years

The United States is facing its worst measles outbreak in 35 years, official data released Friday showed. Officials blame falling vaccination rates and rising vaccine distrust. The last comparable year was 1991, when 9,643 cases were reported.
