Soyuz crew returns to Kazakhstan after eight months on ISS
A Soyuz capsule carrying NASA astronaut Chris Williams and Russian cosmonauts Sergei Kud-Sverchkov and Sergei Mikaev landed safely on the Kazakh steppe on Sunday, ending an eight-month mission on the International Space Station. Their Soyuz MS-28 descended by parachute and touched down in a designated landing zone on the steppe southeast of Dzhezkazgan, completing the international trio's return from orbit.
