Samsung cuts more than 800 US jobs in move to Texas
Samsung Electronics has cut jobs across its US consumer electronics business, including display and smartphone operations, with most affected staff in New Jersey and Texas. The company told Reuters that 739 positions at Samsung Electronics America in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, were hit as part of a plan to relocate its US consumer electronics headquarters to Texas.
