Rower Lakshay provisionally suspended for doping, India's World Cup gold at risk
Indian rower Lakshay, who with Ujjwal Kumar Singh won India's first World Rowing Cup gold in Lucerne last month, has been provisionally suspended by NADA after testing positive for the banned steroid stanozolol. The Tribune reported the out-of-competition sample was collected in Pune on May 25. If upheld, he could face a four-year ban and the historic gold could be stripped.
