Protistha Samanta books CWG vault final berth for India
India's Protistha Samanta reached the women's vault final at the Commonwealth Games on Saturday, finishing fifth in qualifying with a combined 13.025 from two vaults. The 22-year-old from West Bengal was the lone Indian to advance; Pranati Nayak placed 11th as third reserve. India finished ninth in the women's team event with 123 points, as Australia took gold with 158.400.
