Jurgen Klopp named Germany head coach through 2030 World Cup
Jurgen Klopp has been appointed head coach of Germany's men's national team through the 2030 World Cup, his first international role. The 59-year-old succeeds Julian Nagelsmann after Germany's Round-of-32 exit to Paraguay at the 2026 tournament, returning to management nearly two years after leaving Liverpool. Unveiled in Frankfurt, Klopp begins against the Netherlands in the UEFA Nations League on September 24.
