Indian-origin MPs rise in Burnham's UK Cabinet reshuffle

New British Prime Minister Andy Burnham's Cabinet reshuffle has elevated several Indian-origin Labour MPs. Bihar-born Kanishka Narayan becomes Minister for Artificial Intelligence, while Satvir Kaur takes an equalities and Home Office role and Harpreet Uppal is named Assistant Whip. Uma Kumaran joins the Foreign Office as a junior minister. Starmer allies Seema Malhotra and Preet Kaur Gill were moved to the backbenches.
