In Bucharest, Murmu hails Indian diaspora as true representatives
President Droupadi Murmu, visiting Bucharest, on Saturday told a reception of the Indian community that the diaspora in Romania are true representatives of the country whose achievements aid India's progress. She called people-to-people ties the strongest pillar of India-Romania relations and saw scope to widen cooperation in defence, renewable energy, digital technology, education, research and healthcare, praising Indian professionals' economic contribution.
