China evacuates over 20,000 as Typhoon Noul nears Hong Kong, Guangdong

Southern China has evacuated more than 20,000 people and suspended rail services as Typhoon Noul approaches, with flights cancelled in Hong Kong. The storm is forecast to make landfall along the coast from Hong Kong to Guangdong province between Saturday evening and Sunday morning, the National Meteorological Center said, which issued an orange alert, the second-highest in its four-tier warning system.
