Call for scientific study before Korapuzha dredging resumes
A proposal to resume dredging at Korapuzha has prompted an environmental organisation to demand a scientific assessment first. It has called for an expert committee including a marine ecologist and a representative of local residents to evaluate the plan to deepen the estuary before any further decision is taken.
